The Solution Sanji new ZX40KPW requires the user to enter a personal 4 digit code before he is able to drive the vehicle. The system is highly effective as a stand-alone immobilizer system or as an early warning signal for a tracking system and recovery system. The keypad is manufactured to the highest quality standards and is very user friendly and easy to use. A built in beeper gives the driver audible feedback of commands and the keypad is backlit for easy night time operation. Technology New technology has been developed to communicate between the keypad and the immobilizer module without the need for installing communication wires. The Sanji ZX40KPW uses the vehicles existing wiring to communicate thus making the system very secure as compared to a similar wired systems. If the thief cannot find the immobilizer module he cannot override it. The ZX40KPW immobilizer module is very small and ideal for effective covert installation. As additional security for very high risk vehicles the system will allow for multiple satellite immobilizer units to be installed into the same vehicle. This new technology was developed in preference to normal RF (Radio Frequency) to eliminate potential interference from outside sources thus improving the reliability of the system. The satellite immobilizer unit has been designed to work up to 140 °C and is housed in a water resistant housing thus making it suitable for installing in the engine compartment should the need arise. The unit is 100% South African design and manufactured to ISO 9001 standards in Sanji’s Kyalami factory.
